It looks like the eko whacko movement is jubliant. They finally got a reason to justify their miserable existance. As to the seriousness of the spill all I have is news reports which is less than reliable. Oil rigs do not just "blow up" be they land or sea. They have more safeguards than you can imagine. But even the most advanced technology is useless if someone ain't doing their job and that is exactly what happened. Of course questions like how many were drug tested and how many illegal aliens and so called "guest workers" were on that rig will never be answered. BP has a lot of Guest workers in this country. All that aside the decision has to be made. Do we want to use our own rescources or be dependent on oue enemies for oil? To exploit our own rescources will take casualities. If that is unacceptable then do not cry about the price of energy and the availibility of it.
