Gotcha Irish! This was going to be your next post and I beat you to it.. The reasons cited was he is too political. There is some truth to that. In my opinion the FBI director probably has no business giving out press conferences and making statements without the approval of the attorney general's office..And this also was cited as one of the reasons. However I doubt that he did enough damage to Clinton to make her lose. Be that as it may I wonder if the firing of the FBI director should perhaps not have to be approved by the congress, but having said that most of the congress if investigated would no doubt be in prison or better yet taken out and shot. But it does make me nervous when someone in federal investigation gets fired. It is an interesting scenario.
