It was good to hear from you Pat, please stick around and join our discussions. You might be interested in this old thread:ACW: Never Forget. Never Forgive? (Assuming we can figure out what that means).
http://flattopshistorywarpolitics.yuku.com/topic/1100/ACW--Forget--Forgive-Assuming---figure----meansAs to who was right and who was wrong, I think I will just say that the North was less wrong, if only slightly, and leave it at that.I am still interested in reading about the Civil War, but I seem to be less interested in discussing it. Now, if only I could find somone willing to discuss World War II. I did visit the new Mason-Dixon site and it does look good (though it did remind me of why I chose to move to Yuku instead of Multiply -- no offense to those who chose Multiply). It does look like a good place for those who wish to discuss the ACW.Actually, the discussion on how we know history was interesting. My view is that history is never done because there is always the possibility of new evidence.Again, it was great to hear from you. I hope you stick around.Flattop
