I decided to break the space topics out from the aviation topics by creating a new board.  I also renamed the aviation forum.
"The Cape" refers to Cape Canaveral, where NASA has it rocket launching site for manned missions.  LBJ renamed the place Cape Kennedy, but it is often reffered to simply as "the cape."
I didn't really like the name "Edwards AFB" for the air and space forum, it was just the best I could come up with.  A few days ago I came up with "The Wild Blue Yonder" which is a line from the U.S. Air Force song -- Of we go, into the wild blue yonder. . . .
"It'd be nice to please everyone but I thought it would be more interesting to have a point of view."
